Description: As the name implies, this is a tarot utilizing Masonic symbolism. Numerological and geometric symbolism dominates, with the cards themselves carefully sized to be exactly twice as high as they are wide. The card and booklet text are given in French and English.
The Masons are a fraternal group made up of masonic groups such as stonemasons, carpenters etc. They originated in the early 14th century and probably formalized and organized in the late 17th and early 18th century. Self-described as a "beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols". They use three degrees of initiation characterized by ritual and revelation of the deeper meanings of (Masonic) Lodge symbols, which are used to build an allegorical Temple of Solomon.
